Bella felt a sense of empowerment from the dress, which is why she held onto it in the years since her split with Cena.

Bella was conflicted about her decision to wear the dress, but ultimately would have chosen not to if Chigvintsev had an issue with it.

Chigvintsev was surprised at the reactions from others and felt that if there was an issue with it, it was bringing negative energy into their happiness.

Bella and Chigvintsev first met in 2017 as partners on "Dancing With the Stars" while Bella was still engaged to Cena.

The couple got engaged in November 2019 and later welcomed their son Matteo in July 2020.

Bella and Cena broke up in April 2018 after being together for six years.
